While Java software installation is in progress, a message box with the following error appears:
Error 26011: Unpacking rt failed.
Cause:
Error 26011 is an InstallShield error code. It indicates that the installation process has failed.
This error can occur if a user is trying to install Java software on a drive having insufficient disk space. We are still investigating the root cause of the issue.

Cause:
The error message is a result of trying to install a 64-bit version of Java on a 32-bit operating system.

Cause:
The Sun Download Center contains important safeguards to ensure compliance with the export regulations of the United States and with Sun’s own policies regarding international distribution of software and source code. Sun also enforces all U.S. mandated embargoes and trade sanctions with regards to certain countries.

at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.connect(Unknown Source)

* Or, the browser cannot display the program, and shows the error message
“Loading Java Applet Failed…”
Cause:
The Java Runtime Environment (JRE) could not obtain proxy information from the browser.
